FAQ
Where is the data from?
One word: Wikipedia. More words: The entire Wikipedia data can be downloaded;
and this is what I did. I than extracted the data concerning persons to fuel the visualization.
Who is the oldest person in the data set? Who is the ...
Same fun statistics on the data set can be found in
statistics.
Jesus is born 4BC and not 0BC!?
This might be be the case but Wikipedia lists Jesus under "born 0BC". So, I kindly ask you to change Wikipedia...
The short description or the links are nonsense!?
Right, I didn't write 600,000 short descriptions by hand, but extracted them from the full text on Wikipedia.
This method works most of the time. Sometimes unfortunately it doesn't.
The failures are hard to spot and to correct and it will take time to tune the extraction algorithm.
Thus, I kindly ask you for patience and clemency.
